Hersha Hospitality Trust Selects Aptech to Provide Enterprise Accounting and Business Intelligence Systems for 34 Properties
Philadelphia-based Hersha Hospitality Trust (AMEX: HT), a real estate investment trust (REIT), announced it has selected Aptech Computer Systems to implement a multi-property financial accounting and business intelligence system to centralize operating data from all its hotels. Hersha Hospitality will use the consolidated information for better budgeting and to generate more accurate and actionable information for decision-making that impacts investor profitability. Hersha operates 34 properties that include Hilton, Marriott, Choice, Starwood and InterContinental Hotel Group brands.

Hersha will install Aptech’s ExecuvueÔ Business Intelligence, ProfitvueÔ enterprise back office, and WebvueÔ Internet accounting solutions to merge daily property information into a corporate database for detailed, drill-down reporting and faster evaluation of key operating factors. The installation will be completed in the third quarter of 2005.
