dailypoint™ recognized the need for clean, structured data in the hospitality industry and added a new, patent-pending technology to its product suite – a data cleansing service that allows hotels to automatically clean, correct and deduplicate their guest profiles and push that data back to the hotel’s PMS. 
The product provides a fully automated, AI-based process, and includes hundreds of steps while reviewing all key data points within the guest profile. It removes duplicate profiles, corrects mistakes made from human errors, corrects addresses for more than 240 countries and ultimately creates one single, accurate profile for each guest. This data is stored in dailypoint’s central data management solution and also pushed to the hotel’s PMS so data is accurate across all key sources.
More than 500 hotels are already using the service and have seen a 7 percent reduction in redundant guest profiles. The service pairs seamlessly with dailypoint’s CRM. Once the data is cleaned, dailypoint™ creates guest interests and preferences based on the consolidated data sources like PMS data, the hotel website, email newsletter, guest questionnaires and many others.
dailypoint also announced several new partnerships, including certifications with key PMS partners like Oracle and protel. 
As part of its Gold Partner level membership of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), dailypoint has achieved Oracle Validated Integration with OPERA 5.5. This integration improves the quality of guest data and allows hotels to comply with recent General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) by aggregating data from various sources, cleaning it and pushing it back to OPERA.
To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements based on customer needs and priorities. By achieving these requirements, the dailypoint two-way interface now lets hotels maintain one central source for all key guest data points. dailypoint will structure guest data from dozens of sources, clean, match and remove duplicates, and create one clean guest profile in Opera PMS.
The protel partnership allows protel customers to automatically clean, correct and deduplicate guest profiles within their protel PMS. The clean data is then pushed back to protel and stored in dailypoint so that all data is up-to-date across sources. dailypoint creates guest interests and preferences based on consolidated data sources such as the PMS, the hotel website, email newsletter, guest questionnaires and many others. 
All these advances have been recognized within the hospitality industry. dailypoint was selected as a finalist for HTNG’s (Hospitality Technology Next Generation) 2019 TechOvation Award. To be considered for this award, technology providers submitted a 90-second video to highlight how their product benefited hoteliers and drove industry innovation. dailypoint showcased its new data laundry solution. The finalists were then judged by a panel of industry and technology experts in New Orleans at HT-NEXT.
