NORTHWIND, a provider of enterprise property management and reservation solutions for hospitality, announced its Maestro property management suite was selected by seven properties with four- and five-diamond ratings for installation in the first quarter of 2005.

President of U.S. Operations for NORTHWIND Warren Dehan said, “The seven hotels that recently selected Maestro include luxury properties like the Paws Up Resort in Montana and Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel in California and extend across the country to two sister properties on the Harvard University campus in Cambridge, Mass., that are centralizing operations with Maestro Multi-Property Management for front office as well as POS and table reservations to enhance guest service and management control.”

The Maestro fully integrated club spa management module has been strengthened with the addition of real-time confirmation for spa services, and on-demand communications capability has been added for time sensitive correspondence.
Additionally, Maestro front office and sales and catering have come together more closely to provide a consolidated view for total property forecasting with a combined GRC report. To help capture guest information more quickly Maestro’s mandatory fields are now highlighted. New interfaces include InfoGenesis POS and EasyRMS.

Reaching Guests Online
Maestro now provides online spa booking through its club spa activities system and Maestro tee times and hotel reservations are now easier for guests to make remotely with Maestro’s Zmail integration. NORTHWIND continues to lead the vendor field with hospitality’s only all-channel yield management functionality that standardizes maximum rates across all booking channels, from voice centers to Web booking sites, with rate controls centralized on one screen for faster action.

New Web Site to Deliver Online Services
With its focus on client success, NORTHWIND launched a new Web site that features online training, FAQ answers and many new services including property-level operational analysis, Web optimization consulting and yield strategies.
