Maestro Version 5.0 is PCI Compliant
Version 5.0 of the Maestro PMS is certified compliant with the Payment Application Data Security Standard by the PCI Security Standards Council. NORTHWIND utilizes credit card tokenization technology which reduces a hotel’s security risk by not storing any credit card information in the Maestro database.  The Maestro upgrade comes at no cost to users under its Diamond Plus Service.  Maestro also provides PCI audit assistance to help operators understand the steps to achieve compliance by the July 1 deadline.

Maestro Launches Self-service Kiosk at HITEC
NORTHWIND will launch its much anticipated self checkin and checkout kiosk capabilities at HITEC.   The interface has been rolled out in the latest Maestro release and is currently in use at selected properties. It will be available for demonstrations at NORTHWIND’s booth No. 523.
Guest-centric ResWave Booking Engine Boosts Incremental Revenue and Lowers Costs
Maestro’s ResWave online booking engine is fully integrated in real-time with Maestro Front Office to lower cost and drive incremental revenue from Website reservations.  Guests use ResWave to create dynamic packages and upsell themselves by adding dining reservations, activity bookings, spa appointments, tee times and other reservations directly from a hotel’s Website as they book their room.  ResWave also enables group guests to make reservations from their group’s block.  Meeting planners can also manage group rooms online to ensure reservations are accurate and events go smoothly.  The ResWave booking engine is unique because it includes turnkey custom set-up, monthly hosting and is certified PCI compliant.
