In addition, OIC featured several solution-oriented workshops in the Hospitality Connect Zone and industry roundtable discussions led by Oracle Hospitality partners.
New Research Report: The Loyalty Divide
Winning the loyalty of customers has never been more important. And for that task, restaurant operators almost routinely offer loyalty programs. But are such initiatives really effective – and are operators evaluating them holistically, rather than with just conventional metrics?
Getting answers for these critical questions was the main objective of Oracle Hospitality’s just-published global study, "The Loyalty Divide – Operator and Consumer Perspectives." Oracle Hospitality commissioned Morar HPI, an independent U.K.-based consultancy, to survey more than 13,000 consumers and 500 businesses across hotels, restaurants and retail in nine countries. The findings are designed to help operators refine loyalty initiatives and better understand the new levels of personalization they’ll require to be effective.
The report also reveals a significant “disconnect” between operators and consumers when it comes to their perceptions of loyalty, and offers insights on ways to bridge that divide.
