The latest release of MICROS Systems’ fully integrated enterprise solution includes new features and components that significantly expand the dimensions of this popular suite of hospitality software applications.

As MICROS strives to provide the industry with exceptional software solutions, the MICROS Hotel eCommerce Suite will make its debut at HITEC 2011.  MICROS now provides all e-commerce needs from a single framework.  This suite of products services multiple audiences from one single platform.

Whether you are a chain hotel or an independent hotel, MICROS is leveraging the latest mobile technologies with continued development of MyStayManager, the guest portal of the MICROS Hotel eCommerce Suite, which allows guests to administer their personal preferences and loyalty details and manage their entire experience from prior to arrival all the way to checking out, all through their mobile devices. Guests who enjoy using technology for every aspect of their lives, now have the opportunity to do the same for their hotel stays.

Guests are able to check availability, create/modify and cancel reservations, as well as view the hotel’s location via integration with Google.  These mobile guests can also remotely check in using their mobile devices, and once in-house, they can place orders for in-room dining, make restaurant reservations and order services like turn down and extra linens, and via MICROS’ HTNG partners, make spa, golf and activities reservations – all from one device and one service. Guest will also continue their mobile experience by checking out and receiving their folios immediately.

Hotel departments are also now empowered with OPERA2Go, the hotel’s operations mobile solution.  The front desk is able to remotely check in and check out guests from any mobile device, reducing lines at the front desk, providing guests with an experience they’ll never forget.  Front desk agents can provide personalized services with access to profile and reservation information including special requests and providing on-the-spot credit card swipe and key encoding without leaving the guest.  Additional departments like housekeeping and concierge will be able to manage the rooms and hotel guests via OPERA2Go including key services like turn down, special requests and room status update all from one mobile device.

MICROS Hotel eCommerce Suite also includes a significant component, OPERA webHotel, which is a new evolution of the guest website vehicle.  OPERA webHotel not only provides state-of-the-art profile management, availability, rate management and reservations, it is also integrated with social networking sites and full tracking of conversion through its integration with Google Analytics and Omniture.

OPERA webProposal is a MICROS-hosted application that minimizes additional hardware costs and enables the hotel to create, distribute and manage professionally designed HTML proposals for rooms only groups, conferences, weddings and catering group proposals, without the need to re-enter data, all via the Web. OPERA webProposal automatically assembles a new proposal using up-to-the-minute client and contact information, sleeping room requirements, meeting facilities needs, catering specs, and other details for the selected business block directly from a property’s OPERA database.

The MICROS Hotel eCommerce Suite comes with a minimal investment onsite, subscription or SaaS model options and low IT maintenance.
