MICROS Systems’ fully integrated enterprise solution is leading the way with features and components that address the most in-demand technology trends in the industry. This popular suite of hospitality software applications provides solutions to the growing list of challenges hoteliers encounter, unlocking unrealized business potential.
The MICROS Hotel eCommerce and Distribution Suites are a collection of game-changing products that give hotels the competitive edge they need to tackle evolving guest expectations and market demands.
The MICROS Hotel eCommerce Suites provides all business e-commerce needs from a single framework. This suite of products services multiple audiences from one platform, directly connecting hotels to their customers without sacrificing customer service or data integrity, including OPERA2Go, MyStayManager and WebHotel.
OPERA2Go is a premier hotel operations mobile solution. The front desk is able to remotely check in and check out guests from any mobile device, reducing lines at the front desk, providing guests with an experience they’ll never forget. Front desk agents can provide personalized services with access to profile and reservation information including special requests and providing on-the-spot credit card swipe and key encoding without leaving the guest. Additional departments like housekeeping and concierge will be able to manage the rooms and hotel guests via OPERA2Go, including key services like turndown, special requests and room status update, all from one mobile device.
Provide guests with self-service systems including the mobile MyStayManager and state-of-the-art website system called WebHotel. Give guests the power to manage their own profiles and loyalty information, availability, rate management, reservations and requests – just to name a few.
The MICROS Distribution Suite includes the world-class MyFidelio.net and the newly released MICROS Channel Manager.
MyFidelio.net provides hotels the opportunity to reach a broad base of travel agencies worldwide; the GDS terminals of Amadeus, Sabre, Worldspan and Galileo are an essential source of hotel bookings, apart from airline and rental car business. Not only traditional travel agents, but also online travel agencies make use of GDS technology to book both business and leisure travel through a dedicated interface to the Pegasus Ultra Switch linking to all four major GDSs.
Hotels are linked to more than 500,000 travel agency terminals worldwide and more than 100 Internet portals, connecting through Pegasus to offer one of the highest technology levels available in the next-generation seamless and total pricing market. Both features enable hotels to communicate in real time and with the highest level of transparency with the travel agent. The latest functionality such as multiroom shopper is an additional supported feature.
MICROS Channel Manager will compliment MyFidelio.net distribution by offering hotels representation in the most competitive third-party websites. It gives hotels a tool to manage online rates in a consolidated approach; using one platform they can distribute their hotels’ best rates to all the leading Web portals. The MICROS Channel Manager is a user-friendly tool that helps with the complex and time-consuming exercise of updating third-party distribution websites. The MICROS Channel Manager professional services team provides users with expert consultancy in developing and distributing their content to the different websites.
