One of the foremost sales, catering, conference services and banqueting systems, OPERA Sales & Catering expands its product offerings by providing the market with OPERA webProposal and OPERA S&C Analytics. OPERA webProposal is a one-of-a-kind industry solution, which is completely integrated with OPERA. Hotels that do not have sales and catering needs can also use OPERA webProposal directly with the leading property management system, OPERA Property Management System (PMS). OPERA webProposal is a MICROS-hosted application, minimizing additional hardware costs, and enabling the hotel to create, distribute and manage professionally designed HTML proposals for rooms-only groups, conferences, weddings and catering group proposals without the need to re-enter data, all via the Web. OPERA webProposal automatically assembles a new proposal by using up-to-the-minute client and contact information, sleeping room requirements, meeting facilities needs, catering specs and other details for the selected business block directly from your OPERA database. The new OPERA S&C Analytics compliments the already extensive industry standard reports provided inherently by OPERA Sales & Catering. This module gives the sales and catering departments the ability to create detailed and complex reports either as hotel standards or on-the-fly, while also supplying the hotel with drill-down capabilities to report on the statistical and financial details.
As MICROS strives to provide the industry with exceptional software solutions, the OPERA Hardware Solution made its successful debut at HITEC 2010. This all-inclusive server, workstation and printer solution offers hoteliers buying power to purchase both the software and the hardware directly from MICROS. For added confidence, the OPERA Hardware Solution comes with a MICROS disaster recovery solution.
In addition to the newest offerings, MICROS continues to see significant traction with its latest modules including: OPERA Business Intelligence Suite (OBI), which provides hotels with data analysis and decision support by using information collected from multiple OPERA applications and multiple or single properties based on your configuration; and the OPERA Revenue Management System (ORMS), an entirely integrated yield management component for OPERA PMS and the OPERA Reservation System (ORS). ORMS provides modeling, forecasting and revenue optimization, including innovative rate shopper integration that enables call center agents or reservation clerks to view the same competitive rates the hotel guest is seeing during the reservation booking process. A user-friendly console panel provides the revenue and reservation managers to quickly and easily set up conditions and manage their forecasting and revenue optimization.
OPERA’s MyStayManager allows guests to manage their hotel reservations and travel itineraries from their mobile devices. OPERA’s MyStayManager provides guests with the convenience of making reservations, receiving real-time updates relevant to their stay, accessing essential travel services and information, and selecting from the unique activities and services your hotel offers, all through their mobile devices.
The OPERA Resort Dashboard provides a central location for hotel agents to schedule guest activities, such as dining reservations, spa appointments, rental items, and golf tee times. From a single screen, you can quickly book a reservation and schedule all activities for a guest. OPERA even provides the flexibility to schedule activities on a per person basis.
