What are some of your responsibilities?
Project management and Web site/systems development for Fidelity Strategic Investments, the Venture Capital arm of Fidelity Investments. I wear another hat as the CIO for the World Trade Center & Seaport Hotel Boston.

What do you like most about your job?
The satisfaction of developing and implementing system strategies that improve company, employee and customer productivity.

What do you like least about your job?
Not enough time for more golf!

Did you go to undergraduate school? Where? What was your major?
B.S. Business Administration, Arizona State University (Yes, it is a dry heat and dry heat is better than no heat at all.)

What is your favorite movie?
"Top Gun"

What is your favorite song?
Daryl Hall & John Oates "Las Vegas Turnaround"

What is your favorite line from a movie or song?
“What’s the point of having a dwarf around if he won’t do chores?” – Henry Fonda, "On Golden Pond"

What was your first job?
I was a dishwasher at the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) at age 13.
My first “adult” job was systems management trainee at the Sheraton New Orleans in 1983.

What was your most interesting day at work?
Being late for a telecom project review meeting in Patpong due to a tooktook flat tire. The meeting was still a success.

What would you do if you won the lottery?
Pay more taxes! Actually, I would travel more with my family.

When you are not working what do you enjoy doing?
Golfing and an occasional beer with friends; skiing, fishing and going to the beach with my wife and four kids; and, of course, Patriot game tailgates.

What is the next technology to impact the hospitality industry?
Wireless, the sequel - high-speed palm devices and laptops accessing business and travel-related applications will continue to evolve. 802.11 WiFi access in hotels will become an expected amenity.
