Datavision Offers New Payroll Metrics Module

Datavision has announced a new enhancement to its system, the Payroll Metrics Suite to help control payroll costs and predictive payroll models department heads.

Payroll is often 40 percent to 50 percent of operating expenses at many hotels and resorts. Datavision's current customers estimate that using Datavision to stay on top of their labor helps them save one to three percent annually. This comprehensive suite of reports is designed for the executive team with the ability to drill into details for the individual department heads.

For current Datavision customers, the Payroll Metrics Suite can be added on to an existing system. For new Datavision customers, the suite can deploy on premise or in the cloud.
Some important features:
  • Key metrics from PMS, POS, spa and golf can be included in the reports
  • The data will be synchronized between Datavision and the timeclock daily (catching up on punch edits as well)
  • Reports can be automatically sent via email to selected group of users in time for the morning meeting
  • Reports compare actual to budget, forecast and last year
  • System will automatically calculate month end labor projections based on each department’s productivity metric
