Dates Set for 2015 HSMAI Digital Marketing Strategy and Revenue Optimization Conferences

The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) has announced the 2015 dates for its Digital Marketing Strategy and Revenue Optimization conferences.

The 2015 Digital Marketing Strategy Conference is set for Feb. 24 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, the day after the HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala at the same location. “It’s an event that brings together key decision makers, industry leaders and thought leaders," said Fran Brasseux, HSMAI executive vice president. "The sessions delve deep into topics of concern to those in hospitality marketing.”

The conference will bring together a strong roster of digital marketing specialists to talk about the ever-changing landscape of digital and allow attendees to discuss concerns and trends.

“This is an incredibly valuable conference and becomes more and more so every year,” said Maureen Callahan, Destinations Hotels & Resorts vice president of marketing. “It is all things digital now. Having an inherent understanding of trends in the industry and being able to network with peers and thought leaders allows us to gain new insights to take back to our owners/investors and our property teams. It is absolutely invaluable.”

The 12th annual HSMAI Revenue Optimization Conference (ROC) is planned for June 15 in Austin, Texas. It is one of the largest gatherings of hotel revenue professionals and brings together over 500 attendees, representing more than 100 hotel companies and individual hotel properties.

“Our goal each year with the Revenue Optimization Conference is to engage executives in discussions about the latest trends and best practices in the discipline and provide solutions and strategies for the future,” said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHBA, president and CEO of HSMAI. “It’s a don’t-miss event for senior or regional hospitality professionals with direct responsibility for revenue optimization and pricing, or any management leader with an interest in staying ahead of the curve.”

The one-day program takes a close look at challenges revenue optimization professionals face, summarizes the implications, and, through discussion, helps them find solutions and strategies for moving forward.

“It’s been so fun to watch the growth of the conference over the years,” said Scott Roby of Evolution Hospitality. “It’s great to see the interaction and how topics continue to advance every single year.  There is a constant evolution of the discipline of revenue management. You have the same people coming back again and again because they know they will continue to learn each and every year.”

Industry thought leaders will lead discussion of current trends and best practices during the session. The conference is co-located with HITEC, one of the world’s largest hospitality technology shows.
