Getmymessage FZ LLC announced the launch of its MessageBox LITE application, an innovative web-based hotel chat messaging app and task management software system for hotels.

While Getmymessage FZ produces apps for hotels of all tier levels, MessageBox LITE is the first completely chat-based guest request management solution for the mid-tier/budget sector of the hotel industry. The app has been built like a normal consumer messaging app to ensure faster adaptation; staff can be trained how to use the intuitive app in less than five minutes.

"MessageBox was created to fill the vacuum in effective guest request and internal task management within hospitality and other verticals," said Shabu Ans, founder of Getmymessage FZ. "Most use messaging apps which perform the dual function of allowing the employees to be in touch as well as manage tasks or jobs. MessageBox changes all that."

Everything in MessageBox is built around chat messaging to ensure communication between employees is through real-time messaging on any and all issues.

Features include private chats and group chats, guest request management, runner dashboard on mobile, supervisor dashboard on mobile, supervisor – assign/reopen/close, collaboration – request-based chat, free native apps in Android and iOS, availability in multiple languages, fully cloud based, overdue notifications, ability to create room numbers and a housekeeping module. The guest app is available as of March 2017 and will feature guest communication by chat, guestroom service ordering, guest feedback on every request and stay feedback, guest table reservations and guest spa reservations.

"The app is plug and play - users can register online, download the app and start using it," said Ans. "It’s that simple. It is cloud based with no local IT dependencies."

With the absence of buttons and multiple screens, the app is very simple to understand and makes the training process easy. Users can manage their hotel operations from their mobile devices. The app is free of charge for up to five users, and is available for iPhone and iPad via the iOS App Store and for the Android via the Google Play Store.
