Hospitality Technical Services (HTS) is partnered with the Marriott International Inc. portfolio for its certified GPNS program for guest internet access.

HTS provides high speed internet access to properties in its Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels, Autograph Collection, Renaissance, AC Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott, Springhill Suites by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott and TownePlace Suites by Marriott brands. After passing Marriott's rigorous testing to become a certified Global Property Network Standards (GPNS) partner for HSIA deployment in 2012, HTS has become one of the leading providers of guest internet access and converged networks to hotels across the Marriott hotels in the Americas.
"HTS is committed to making the ongoing investment necessary to remain a top tier partner of Marriott International and our other industry partners," said Mark Holzberg, CEO of HTS. "The Marriott GPNS program creates a consistent, industry-leading property Internet offering of the highest quality across Marriott brands. We are looking forward to continuing to advance our relationship with Marriott, at both its franchise and managed property components, as we continue to deploy and support our Internet services."

Industry reports show that connectivity is the key driving force shaping IT projects in 2014, with more than 65 percent of hotels planning to add bandwidth or make infrastructure improvements this year. With such demand on the rise, hotel companies need to turn to an HSIA provider that truly understands the hotel environment while delivering on guest expectations. HTS is one of the few providers in the market that has experience in both hotel operations and hotel technology.

"Considering the vast number of mobile devices being used by travelers and myriad applications requiring network and wireless connectivity, hotels need to deploy a solution that is not purely guest based, but visitor based to support meeting rooms, restaurants, health clubs, retail shops, golf courses, spas and other areas outside of just guestrooms," said Holzberg. "HTS is equipping hotels of all sizes and brand affiliations with robust networks backed by superb 24/7/365 customer support. In fact, some of our customers consider HTS to be the best kept HSIA secret in the market because we understand the complicated interworkings of a multi-branded hotel company.

"HTS is proud to be one of the first HSIA providers chosen by Marriott as a certified GPNS partner," he said, "and we look forward to advancing our relationship with Marriott to ensure a consistent guest experience, a branded login process, and a stable platform for future Marriott programs."
