Hilton Worldwide has announced that Nathalie Corredor has joined the company as senior vice president, corporate strategy, based at its global headquarters in McLean, Va.

Prior to joining Hilton, Corredor spent much of her career working in Silicon Valley, most recently at Google as global head of vertical search ad development and sales. In this role she drove key travel-focused products, including hotel advertising and flight search, and fueled significant sales growth. She also previously served as Google’s head of sales strategy and operations, and worked with the VP of U.S. sales to ensure optimal operations for the company’s sales team.

In her new role at Hilton Worldwide, Corredor will lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide strategies and initiatives to drive growth and innovation. She will report directly to Kevin Jacobs, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and will join the company’s senior leadership group.

“We are very excited to be adding Nathalie to our executive team," said Jacobs. "She has a proven track record of exceptional results, and her many talents will contribute significantly to our continued efforts to be the industry’s fastest-growing and most innovative company."

Before Google, Corredor was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, supporting strategy development for several global clients, including Hilton Worldwide. She began her career as a consultant with Mercer Management Consulting, now Oliver Wyman, where she worked with travel and technology companies. Throughout her career, Corredor has also provided strategic guidance to several startup companies, including those in the travel space.

“It is an incredibly exciting time at Hilton and I am thrilled to join their senior leadership team,” said Corredor. “Hilton exhibits some of the best characteristics of a startup, even as a nearly 100 year old company. They have an outstanding vision, a desire to challenge the status quo, a sense of urgency and an infectious positive energy throughout their culture. The teams I have led all focused on launching fast, thoughtfully testing and iterating, and not being afraid to fail or change direction, and I am looking forward to further encouraging this approach and mindset at Hilton.”

Corredor holds a bachelor’s of arts degree in economics and international studies from Duke University and a master’s of business administration degree from Stanford University. She was also a Fulbright Scholar in South Korea.
