Sarova Hotels of East Africa to Upgrade to RateTiger Enterprise Connectivity eRevMax

The Sarova Hotel Group, an 8-property chain of hotels and lodges in Kenya and East Africa with over 1,000 rooms, will upgrade its centralized hotel distribution to the RateTiger enterprise connectivity solution to connect directly to a wider global distribution network to improve its online booking performance. The hotel will process third-party channel updates through its MICROS Opera property management system.

Sarova Hotels upgrades centralized distribution with RateTiger enterprise connectivity solution

The Sarova Hotel Group is upgrading its centralized hotel distribution to benefit from intelligent channel connectivity to support growing demands from its revenue and electronic distribution strategy. The hotel group is migrating from using the integrated RateTiger Channel Manager solution, to processing all third party channel updates via MICROS Opera, utilizing the RateTiger enterprise connectivity solution.

The fully integrated, two-way connectivity solution to hotel distribution channels such as Expedia, Agoda and Orbitz, will allow Sarova Hotel Group to react instantly to market changes and real-time demand, while receiving reservations directly into its PMS. The RateTiger enterprise connectivity solution, from eRevMax, delivers distribution channel updates, rate management, inventory distribution, rate shopping, and reservation delivery to and from eRevMax certified channels.

The RateTiger enterprise connectivity solution delivers real-time connectivity between CRS/PMS, electronic sales channels including GDS, OTAs, IDS, Wholesalers, Tour Operators and other travel sales companies processing online hotel bookings. It supports full enterprise integration with 2-way XML connectivity; all delivered in a Software-as a Service (SaaS) model.

Accor, Louvre Hotel Group, and NH Hoteles are among eRevMax clients utilizing the enterprise connectivity solution to connect directly to a wider global distribution network to improve their online booking performance.
