TeleAdapt announced the upcoming launch of its new product – RoomCast; a new media streaming solution designed for the hotel industry.

RoomCast makes it simple for hotel guests to play their favorite content from their mobile device to the guestroom TV. TeleAdapt will introduce the product at HITEC, the worlds largest hotel technology show on June 21, 2016, in New Orleans, La, booth 1139.

RoomCast is an all-in-one wireless personal area network and Chromecast media streaming solution. After joining the network, guests will discover the “cast button” within all of their cast-enabled apps. There is nothing to download; no email or password to enter. All a guest has to do is  join and cast.

With Chromecast guests simply use their mobile device to cast their favorite TV shows, movies, music, sports, games and more. Chromecast works with iPhone®, iPad®, Android phone and tablet, Mac® and Windows® laptop, and Chromebook.

“As guest-room connectivity specialists, we’ve been following media streaming developments very closely," said Neil Betterton, VP of product development at TeleAdapt. "The technology had been too fragmented or complicated for any sort of mass adoption within hotels.  But it was pretty obvious to us that Chromecast could be a game-changer so long as the hotel-specific challenges were addressed. The industry has been searching for a solution and we think they are going to be wowed by what we deliver. Its just so simple."
TeleAdapt will be demonstrating RoomCast on the show floor, in booth 1139 at HITEC.
