dormakaba, the provider of Saflok™ and Ilco™ electronic locks, congratulated its clients in the U.S. News & World Report 2018 "Best Hotels" list.

The top three hotels in the publication’s U.S. ranking are the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, The Peninsula Chicago and The Langham, Chicago. All use dormakaba electronic locks for reliable, secure guestroom access.

The Langham, Chicago Director of Safety and Risk John Washington said, “Guest safety and service are top priorities at The Langham Chicago. The Saflok software behind our guestroom electronic door locks is extremely useful to ensure we provide our guests with the best experience. We can easily pull lock status reports so we know in advance if a guestroom lock has an issue. This allows us to troubleshoot the lock so the guest has a comfortable stay. The RFID technology also provides an ease of room access for our guests.”
