VENZA, a leading technology company for the hospitality industry focused on data security, has been chosen by Canadian hotelier Group Germain Hotels as its data security partner, with a focus on situational awareness.

The primary goal is to prepare every member of the association to meet cybersecurity challenges as well as comply with data handling requirements such as PCI DSS version 3.2.

“Data protection standards and requirements are ever changing,” said Daniel Johnson, VENZA’s COO. “Group Germain Hotels recognizes the important role that their frontline associates play in maintaining vigilance for the benefit of their guests. We’re proud to have an engaging multilanguage platform that suits their needs.”

Mid-year 2016, VENZA launched its PEAK® Learning Game Eco-System for hoteliers. An engaging platform that efficiently and effectively communicates information security best practices to associates, it is now mobile friendly and available in multiple languages. Additional enhancements in 2016 include revamped administrative dashboards for tracking and recording ease.

“The protection of sensitive guest data is a top priority for our team,” said Charles Bureau, director of IT at Group Germain Hotels. “In addition to being hospitality’s gold standard for data security situational awareness programs, the VENZA team has displayed tremendous agility in their ability to adjust the program to our specific needs. Having content available in both French and English is undeniably a plus as well.”

More than 10,000 properties in 100+ countries work with VENZA for its industry-leading tools, technology and strategic security support.
