VENZA is helping Mohonk Mountain House, a 261-room historic property located near the Catskill Mountains of New York, stay compliant and up-to-date with complex, evolving data security requirements.

Leaders of the award-winning all-inclusive resort selected VENZA’s holistic approach to hospitality security that offers 360-degree visibility for proactive management of risks to help defend hotels against threats, ensuring that guests and their data stay safe.

“It’s critical for hotels and resorts to be up-to-date with the latest changes surrounding data security requirements, especially in light of the upcoming release of PCI DSS version 3.2,” said Daniel Johnson, VENZA’s COO. “Mohonk’s leaders are showing that they're committed to taking a proactive approach to equipping their staff and protecting their guests.”

The hospitality industry is particularly vulnerable to data breaches, with recent reports estimating that the industry’s cybercrime costs topped $8.2 million in 2015.

“Our goal is to help guests escape the stresses of their everyday lives, so they shouldn’t have to worry about the security of their personal information,” said Bron Walis, Mohonk Mountain House’s IT director. “We partnered with VENZA because of their deep expertise in this area and focus on the hospitality industry. From their readiness program that enables our people to become our strongest asset in the fight for security and against data fraud, to their solid, reliable, efficient reporting systems, VENZA gives us the capabilities we need to give our guests peace of mind.”
