MICROS continues to bring the food and beverage industry solutions that extend business opportunities beyond four walls. In September, MICROS iCare added power to marketing programs aimed at increasing customer spend and building brand loyalty. By representing the card number in interactive marketing communications powered by ExactTarget™, customers can now present their mobile device at the point of sale. Additional investment in customer segmentation produces exports that efficiently integrate customer data into a variety of external marketing communications platforms, making direct mail, email and SMS content more relevant and impactful.

MICROS’s product strategy is continually influenced by current hospitality and technology trends. New business intelligence capabilities from MICROS myinventory provide the ability to close financial periods and export Invoices, accruals, inventories, transfers and waste separated by GL accounts. MICROS myLabor introduces greater flexibility to import or modify previously approved schedules, address staff turnover and control retroactive pay rate.

The MICROS e7 now provides the best benefits of mobile POS with the game-changing MICROS mTablet R-Series. The wireless mobility places service staff in front of guests, increasing order accuracy while enabling the speed of service that generates more table turns.

MICROS RES has transformed workstation usage by improving guest service with mobility provided by the MICROS mTablet E-Series and Motorola MC-40 handheld. Hosts are able to circulate among guests waiting in a cocktail area for table assignment, and with the ability to print to shared printers which can be discretely mounted out of sight, cluttered wait stations can become a thing of the past. Managers can perform necessary functions, view reports and make on-the-spot decisions in order to provide better service and operate more efficiently without ever leaving the floor or the kitchen.

MICROS Simphony Enterprise Solution’s new features continue to improve the guest experience and allow restaurateurs to manage their operation more efficiently. The MICROS Engagement Feature has arrived to replace the traditional sign in and manager screens, enabling a dynamic, content-rich experience on the MICROS mTablet E-Series and pulling information from both Simphony and external data sources like the local weather, news, sports, live video feeds and real-time reporting. Simphony POS client can now be installed on several consumer-grade Android devices, providing for a lower cost mobile hardware option. Operational cash flow can be tracked using the enterprise cash management module, and with auditing and exception tracking built into the system, variances can be monitored and reported on to prevent loss situations from occurring.

These are just a sampling of what MICROS Food and Beverage Solutions can provide to add convenience for guests and associates, and put executives in control. Discover more about these features and others by visiting www.micros.com or calling (866) 287-4736.
