Clear Sky Software's F&B Inventory Control System Implemented at San Diego Hotel

The San Diego Marriott Del Mar has implemented Clear Sky Software's food and beverage inventory control system to help manage and track all food and beverage products.

 
The luxury hotel in Del Mar, Calif. selected Clear Sky Software and has been busy taking advantage of the features of the F&B inventory system.  Called Clear Sky FOOD & BEVERAGE, it is a comprehensive, perpetual inventory system that tracks and controls all F&B products.  Functions include purchasing/ordering, receiving, electronic requisition, outlet transfers/issues/returns and physical inventory.  The Del Mar hotel also installed Clear Sky’s KIOSK feature for increased tracking of F&B product movements.  Rounding out the features installed are Clear Sky’s US Foods® and MICROS® POS System.  All of these software tools allow management at the busy hotel to report F&B costs by location, product and product category and update food costs automatically.  Other features allow staff to report product fast-movers, slow-movers, cost variances and order/vendor discrepancies.  An expanded event management module is also part of the core system installed.  This bar code-based software, hardware and services combination will ultimately help The San Diego Marriott Del Mar manage their food and beverage inventory with greater efficiency while maintaining lower F&B costs.
