Kerry Hirschy to Retire from dormakaba After a Successful 31 Year Career

dormakaba, a top company in the global market for access and security solutions, announced its Vice President of Sales Kerry Hirschy will retire on Dec. 31, 2017.

Hirschy is completing a stellar 31 year career in the electronic door lock industry. His leadership as a hotel lock sales executive resulted in dormakaba’s strong market share position in North America. Hirschy’s successor will be Dale Mathias. dormakaba manufactures the Saflok™ and Ilco™ electronic door locks and provides installation and service for its systems.

I have personally benefited from his mentorship, experience and honesty. Many of us in the industry feel the same. He will be greatly missed.” Kerry’s career in the electronic lock industry is unprecedented having led sales teams as a senior manager for three decades through two corporate acquisitions.
 
Hirschy began his career in the hotel industry as vice president sales with Safemark Systems in 1986. He left Safemark in 1988 and quickly assumed the vice president of sales role with Computerized Security Systems. In 2006, the former Kaba acquired Computerized Security Systems. Hirschy successfully orchestrated the merger of the competing Saflok and Ilco sales teams. During Hirschy’s watch Kaba realized exponential growth and market leadership. He has been a valuable member of the dormakaba management team in North America and has developed a strong sales organization that will help his successor continue dormakaba’s success.
