SageNet, a leading managed services and cybersecurity solutions provider, is exhibiting at HITEC for the first time since its acquisition of the Internet of Things (“IoT”) / Wi-Fi solutions provider Aware Software (formerly Wandering Wifi).

The HITEC conference, scheduled for June 18-21 in Houston, will offer customers and prospects a first look at the company’s full suite of integrated SageNet/Aware managed services offered for the hospitality industry.

As part of the integration process, the Aware Software and Wandering Wifi brands will be offered under the SageNet brand and reflects the company’s expanding focus and leadership in IoT technologies.

“SageNet has enjoyed strong brand recognition in the managed network services industry for more than 20 years,” said SageNet’s CMO, Rosemary Blum. “The acquisition of Aware Software and the integration of Aware’s IoT and Data Analytics technologies with our Connectivity, Cybersecurity and Digital Signage offerings positions SageNet to deliver a unique suite of managed services to the hospitality industry.”

SageNet is a leading provider of complete, turnkey wireless infrastructure monitoring and management services for high-speed Internet access. SageNet Managed Wi-Fi helps improve the quality and reliability of Internet access, while also elevating the guest experience with unique branding and mobile integration.

The company will be demonstrating its IoT/Visibility platform (part of the Aware Software product suite) at HITEC. The IoT platform allows companies to connect and monitor network and device status in real time, giving them the ability to view their network performance and understand end users’ experience – whether they are utilizing their mobile device to connect to loyalty applications, using an RF scanner to pick, pack and ship, or to pinpoint the exact reason for performance issues without ever stepping foot onsite.

“We’re excited to be a part of the new SageNet brand, and especially pleased about the opportunities our Data Analytics and Visibility Platforms are already generating within SageNet’s deep customer base,” said Bill Morris, general manager, IoT Solutions. “The ability to track the status of every aspect of your network on a single platform is a huge benefit for any company. With the growing number of data-intensive applications used daily by hospitality companies, it’s vital to have extensive cross-system visibility and powerful analytics that let you easily detect and fix small issues in real time before they become bigger problems.”

“Since the acquisition of Aware in January, we’ve witnessed firsthand exactly how pivotal this acquisition is in establishing a unique competitive advantage in our key retail market sector,” added Daryl Woodard, SageNet CEO. “A tremendous amount of knowledge, information sharing and integration has taken place between the two companies over the past six months. It’s not enough anymore to simply provide connectivity or up/down status to our clients. Our customers want up-to-the-minute accurate information in real-time – and that’s exactly what this platform provides.”

In addition to the launch of its new IoT/Visibility platform, SageNet will feature a series of “live demonstrations” at its HITEC booth from company leaders, highlighting SageNet’s latest innovations in cybersecurity solutions, digital signage and Wi-Fi solutions.
