VENZA Celebrates Data Privacy Week

VENZA actively participated in the celebration of this year’s Data Privacy Week. To mark this annual international holiday, VENZA released a series of free content that centered on online data collection, use, and management. This effort was a reiteration of VENZA’s ongoing commitment to help organizations safeguard their systems and their guests' data.

Data Privacy Week took place from January 22-28, 2023. The goal of the week was to spread awareness about online privacy among individuals and organizations. This was important to help citizens understand that they have the power to manage their data and to help organizations understand why it is important that they respect their users' data.

Free content was available throughout the week on VENZA’s social media channels and website (https://www.venzagroup.com/). Items included a data privacy compliance checklist, an article on a recent high-profile data breach, an overview of changes to data privacy regulation in 2023, and an infographic about coming changes to the California Privacy Rights Act (CRPA).

VENZA also supported the week by registering as a Champion. In this role, VENZA joined more than 1,000 registered organizations in formally recognizing and supporting the principle that all organizations share the responsibility of being conscientious stewards of personal information.
