VENZA Helps Driftwood Hospitality Management Implement Proactive Strategy to Prevent Cyber-Crime and Minimize the Risk of Data Breach

VENZA is working with Driftwood Hospitality Management, LLC, a leading hospitality management firm, to institute a cyber-resilient strategy designed to protect guest and company data across 46 properties.

“We work with professionals managing everything from mid-size, extended-stay, and limited-service properties to boutique hotels and full-service resorts. We pride ourselves on providing services that allow our hotels and resorts to achieve solid growth and generate more revenue. It’s critical that we maintain an up-to-date data-security protocol for each property in our portfolio. We partnered with VENZA based on their long-standing track record and expertise in the hospitality industry,” said David Buddemeyer, principal and president of Driftwood Hospitality Management.
Driftwood is a leader in providing solutions based services for the domestic and international hotel industry, working with award winning franchises, nationally recognized hospitality brands and major resort destinations in top markets. The company’s current portfolio includes 47 properties under its management and asset management, totaling more than 9,000 rooms in top business travel, convention markets, and resort destinations around the United States and Costa Rica.
Driftwood selected the Denali Plus package, which provides Data Breach coverage, a PCI Readiness Assessment, and SAQ assistance in addition to awareness audits and prescriptive learning. In addition, VENZA will be serving as the conduit between Driftwood and the other information security vendors.
“Despite tighter regulations, the hospitality industry continues to be a prime target of cybercrime. Driftwood has adopted an aggressive initiative to protect not only its properties but also its guests from data breaches and cyber-criminals,” said Jeff Venza, VENZA president and CEO.
