VENZA is working with Naples, Florida-based Sojourn Hospitality Group to help the company implement a proactive cyber-resilient strategy, including employee training, awareness audits and reinforcement tools, to mitigate data security vulnerabilities and keep hotel guests and their data safe.

“With this initiative, Sojourn Hospitality Group is demonstrating just how seriously it takes the issue of protecting its properties as well as the security of its guests,” said Jeff Venza, VENZA’s president and CEO. “Employees are the first line of defense, and this is a comprehensive approach that will ensure all staff are able to do their part — not just to meet PCI/PII compliance requirements but to exceed security expectations.”

“We view this initiative as an extension of our commitment to providing guests with a four star plus experience,” said Ingrid Hernandez, director of human resources, Sojourn Hospitality Group. “Having experienced VENZA’s platform, we knew they were the right partner. They have the proven track record to provide the quality, industry expertise and comprehensive approach our employees need to be able to reassure our guests that their payment and personal information is protected.”

All Sojourn Hospitality employees will participate in VENZA learning program, reinforcement and follow-up, including PCI/PII awareness training, webinars, “spot check awareness” audits, gamification and prescriptive learning modules. Included with the services are tracking and reporting capabilities as well as other management support tools.
