VENZA is working with Belmond, an international luxury hospitality firm, to provide comprehensive PCI 3.2 training, security protocol awareness audits, reporting and additional custom technology-based learning for Belmond’s staff operating across the globe.

“Even with more awareness and tighter regulations, we continue to hear the stories of data security breaches and other compliance issues affecting the hospitality industry,” says Daniel Johnson, COO of VENZA. “Belmond is tackling this challenge head on with a holistic, preventative approach that ensures all staff have the knowledge and information they need to keep guests’ and employee’s information safe and maintain their confidence and trust.”

VENZA created PCI 3.2 learning specifically for Belmond and is integrating the custom elearning modules into VENZA’s InfoSec Curriculum. Prior to the launch of the customized training program, VENZA has conducted one round of security protocol awareness audits.

“We focus on creating truly memorable travel experiences for guests, whether they’re joining us in one of our iconic hotels, trains or river cruises, and part of that is giving them peace of mind that they’ll be safe with us,” says Charles Kidd, Global Director, Learning and Talent Development at Belmond. “When it comes to addressing information security and compliance issues, we needed a single partner we could trust, one that could tailor learning to our specific needs while also bringing the support and expertise we need to protect our guests and their data. VENZA delivers on all counts.”

In addition to ongoing support from the VENZA team, the partnership also includes reporting that focuses on employee successes and achievement. This program, which is rolled into the VENZA program, celebrates those employees who go above and beyond in regards to their employment and knowledge base. VENZA’s team has also provided Belmond with guidance on courseware development for additional technology-based learning it is creating on topics beyond information security.
