Strand Development Company, LLC, selected the hotel SalesPro sales automation solution for 36 of its hotels.

hotel SystemsPro, creator of hotel SalesPro, is a leading provider of ASP-based enterprise hotel sales software, maintenance automation and guest service solutions. Strand specializes in the two to four-star hotel segments and is approved to operate properties under brands that include Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, Wyndham, Choice and InterContinental Hotels Group.

hotel SalesPro is an affordable ASP-based, multiproperty corporate sales system that enables hotel sales people to be more productive and generate higher revenue. The system provides centralized account and performance tracking, CRM, account and contract management, traces and reporting.

“Strand’s GMs do the selling in their markets. However, we did not have an efficient, standardized way to manage their activity or track their success,” said Allan Brunner, corporate director of sales and marketing for Strand Development Company, LLC. “We first implemented hotel SalesPro in seven properties to evaluate it. The system worked so well that we rolled it out in 36 hotels this fall.”
 
Brunner said the system provides property and consolidated reports that show sales goals, call activity, who was contacted, corporate contacts, account value and revenue performance and other metrics.

“hotel SalesPro is similar to Microsoft Outlook with calendars, contacts and accounts. It was easy for our team to learn,” Brunner said. “Our managers trained online at hotel SystemsPro’s Web learning center and were using the system immediately. My day is much easier now. I can compile property sales data quickly on one report in an hour; not a day or more. Now we have one place to go to check accounts, results, history and sales effort.”

Brunner explained that prior to using hotel SalesPro, Strand’s managers tracked their sales activity on everything from Excel spreadsheets and Outlook, to Post-it notes. “Strand development is known as ‘problem solver,’” he said. “Owners come to us to take over their properties and improve operations and revenue. hotel SalesPro helps us do this.”
