Mews Partners with North American Hostel Association to Equip Hostels with Modern, Cloud-Based Operations
Mews, a leading operating system for hospitality, today announced a new strategic partnership with the North American Hostel Association (NAHA), a growing collective of hostel operators across Mexico, the United States and Canada. The partnership will give NAHA members access to Mews’ modern, cloud-native technology to streamline operations, improve the guest experience, and support long-term growth.
NAHA brings together over 150 independent hostel operators, providing a platform for collaboration, shared resources, and collective buying power. As the organization continues to grow, it plays an increasingly important role in supporting hostels to professionalize, scale, and adapt to evolving traveler's expectations.
As NAHA members gain access to Mews’ flexible property management platform, they will be able to automate key processes such as bookings, payments and reporting, while reducing manual work delivering a more seamless guest journey. For multi-property operators, Mews also provides a standardized foundation to manage multiple locations with greater consistency and control.
Many NAHA members are already using Mews to modernize their operations. Samesun, which operates eight hostels across Canada and the US, has streamlined processes across its portfolio, reduced manual setup and improved guest communication through unified profiles and automated messaging. By moving to a cloud-native solution, the group can now manage properties remotely from anywhere in the world, freeing staff to focus on creating meaningful guest experiences.
“Hostels are the foundation for building memories and meaningful connections among adventurous travelers,” said Frankie Maduzia, Co-Creator of Bunk+Brew Historic Lucas House Hostel and Co-Founder of NAHA. “By partnering with Mews, we’re giving our members easier access to modern tools that reduce manual work and help them focus on what makes hostels special: people, place and authentic experiences.”
“This partnership is about bringing the innovations that Mews is famous for into the hands of North American hoteliers,” said Richard Valtr, Founder of Mews. “By bringing operations, guest journeys and payments into one system, we’re providing a real platform for growth. We’re excited to support NAHA members as they expand their relationships with their customers.”
With a shared focus on community and operational excellence, the partnership will help hostels across North America adopt smarter, more efficient ways of working - while preserving the social, experience-led nature that defines hostel travel.

Mews is an operating system for hospitality, unifying workflows across revenue, operations and the guest journey so teams can automate the mundane and focus on memorable guest experiences.
