Uniguest, a global leader in digital engagement technology, has launched support for Samsung Hospitality TVs with built-in Google Cast, with initial deployments currently underway across a range of hotels and hospitality groups.

Guests can now stream their own content from personal devices directly to Samsung’s HBU800, HU7000F and HU8000F Hospitality TVs, powered by Uniguest Hotel Hub. The integration delivers a seamless and secure in-room entertainment experience, eliminating the need for external dongles or hardware. For hotels, it reduces costs, simplifies maintenance and ensures a fully branded guest interface. Samsung’s Hospitality TV range also supports natively global OTT apps, such as YouTube, Netflix or Prime Video (among many other local and international apps), allowing guests to expand their viewing experience with their very own content.

Casting has become an essential part of the modern guest experience, with hotel groups increasingly looking to make it a brand standard. The new Google Cast integration provides a globally certified, officially supported solution designed specifically for hospitality, addressing both guest convenience and hotel operational needs.

“Guests want the freedom to enjoy their own content in the hotel room as easily as they do at home,” says Nigel Bateson, Head of Reseller Hospitality (Europe) at Uniguest. “By embedding Google Cast into Samsung Hospitality TVs and delivering it through our Hotel Hub platform, we’re giving hotels a certified, secure and scalable solution that sits alongside interactive TV, digital signage and other engagement tools.”

Security and privacy are central to the implementation. Uniguest ensures that pairing is isolated to the individual guest room, preventing cross-room interference, while credentials are automatically cleared on checkout – vital in the hospitality environment and a requirement of Google’s policy. This guarantees peace of mind for guests and compliance for hoteliers.

Samsung views the deployment as a milestone for its hospitality portfolio. “We are proud to bring Google Cast to Samsung Hospitality TVs,” says Piotr Lipiec, Senior BDM Hospitality TV Europe at Samsung. “Working with Uniguest ensures hotels can offer a premium casting experience that is simple, secure and reliable.”

The Google Cast integration on Samsung Hospitality TVs is now built into Uniguest’s Hotel Hub casting module, delivering a centrally managed, scalable and fully certified in-room streaming solution. With global certification secured, the technology is available to hotels worldwide, reinforcing Uniguest’s leadership in creating unified, future-ready guest experiences.

Uniguest is an all-in-one platform that enables hotel brands to connect with guests and employees in a secure way. Our single content management system synchronizes content across any screen, in any space--making it easy for teams to effectively communicate with their audience regardless of where they are throughout the property. With the convenience of a single partner and platform, more than 18k properties enjoy customization, scheduling and monitoring of content across digital signage, in-room television, public computing, mobile devices and more.
