Pre-Conference Networking Reception at Yamashiro - a looping Shuttle will be provided

Come kickoff the CIO Summit at the Yamashiro, a timeless treasure. The reception will take place on the gorgeous garden terrace, enjoy an evening of drinks, sushi and light bites while interacting with your peers and taking in the unparalleled views of Hollywood.  During the Golden Age of Hollywood, Yamashiro served as a private club for the ultra-exclusive “Club of the Four Hundred” where Hollywood’s most famous stars and movie moguls like Marilyn Monroe and Howard Hughes gathered for fine dining and social event experiences. The hand-carved beauty and authentic architecture of Yamashiro has been featured in countless movies, films, and television shows, including blockbusters like Kill Bill and Memoirs of a Geisha.

Hospitality and travel leadership finds themselves in a complex position: in the crosshairs of maintaining their traditional guest service levels while supply chain instability continues to undermine those service levels and increase the cost of service delivery. Based on a 2021 AHLA study, 86% of hotels report having been impacted by supply chain issues, how do we engineer for the future?

Want to build a personalization roadmap?  First you need the right technology foundation - Studios A, B & C

Delivering personalized guest experiences has become a north star of the hospitality industry.  From marketing automation platforms to CDPs to mobile apps, content management systems, customer databases, and more, companies have invested tens of millions of dollars in technology stacks but somehow still struggle to see the expected return.  It turns out, it’s not the technology itself, but how it is integrated and used that’s the problem.  The challenge is that with so many different stakeholders, use cases, and components, it  is easy to lose sight of the overall goal and end up with disjointed technology pieces that aren’t delivering the promised value.  We will provide some pointers for both avoiding and fixing this challenge, leveraging case studies from across industries.
