James P. Mahon
1951–2015

James P. Mahon, owner, James M. Marketing Inc., had been ill for a short period of time and lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, April 5. Since 1985 Mahon had also served as global director of marketing and public relations for the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC), a global professional association with 400 members in 21 countries.

Mahon was known for his wit, his love of his family and of his love for and commitment to IACC. He lived in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., and had previously held positions with Doral Arrowwood in Ryebrook, N.Y., and Dolce Hotels and Resorts before starting his own business.
