AremisSoft’s product enhancement team announced the completion of an interface between 26 Kimpton Group properties utilizing AremisSoft’s LANmark™ property management system and Kimpton RezView™ central reservation system, which is owned and operated by Pegasus Solutions, Inc. Central Point Technologies’ solutions integrated a unique interactive online booking interface enabling customers to view actual room availabilities and rates.


CSS Hotel Systems’ Inntegrity™ is a true 32-bit ODBC Windows application and has many features including transaction functionality, such as posting and routing correction/transfers. LodgemasterPM™ from Fabco Systems provides both large and small hotels with features including operations automation, yield management, Internet connectivity and over 300 standard reports. Galaxy Hotel Systems’ new mobile unit is an exciting new product that utilizes wireless technology and provides a variety of remote check-in services including the ability to cut guestroom keys, process credit cards and print receipts. The ePITOME™ family of products from Hotel Information Systems provides software, services and integration for central reservation, Web reservation, property management, central information and business intelligence systems.

Inter-American Data announced the next release of the LMS ResNet module for booking live online room reservations, which provides hotels with new, cost-effective options to turn a static Web site into real-time booking engines. INNfinity Hospitality Systems, formerly Lodgical Systems LLC, announced recent additions to the Lodgical feature set including a tape chart room matrix with drag-and-drop functions for visual room blocking, one-click transfers between folios, denial reporting and yield management. The Opera Enterprise solution from MICROS-Fidelio introduced enterprise-wide, single-image inventory and last room availability from central reservations to property management to sales and catering.

Multi-Systems is celebrating its 10-year anniversary and highlights its ASP Corporate Reporting, which provides centralized processing for frequency club administration, data warehousing and report generation. Northwind’s real-time online Web reservations with direct property database access adds a powerful revenue stream to clients’ bottom lines.

Pegasus Solutions announced that Six Continents is the first major hotel chain to name PegasusCentral™ as a recommended standard for its properties and currently is using the service in several properties. Using the best of Web technologies, Radiant Systems has created a set of solutions with highly intuitive user interfaces, scalable to meet the needs of any size business and ideally designed to manage businesses with distributed sites. USFS, Country Inns & Suites and Choice Hotels have signed with Ramesys for its telecom program in partnership with Iwatsu America. Springer-Miller Systems announced a global partnership with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group to install the SMS|Host enterprise-wide management system in a number of U.S. and Asian properties. Visual One Systems announced the V1 door-knocker system that allows, among other things, pre-ordering of guests’ room service deliveries.

The InnRoom Business Center from AlphaNet Hospitality is a multi-function workstation that is issued a private fax number upon activation where a guest can send and receive personal faxes. Axxess Industries Inc. offers a patented electronic indicator system, which replaces the antiquated and annoying do-not-disturb doorknob hangers.

Comtrol Corporation’s latest device and system connectivity product line, DeviceMaster™, enables remote configuration and device monitoring via dial-up or Internet connections. Daylight Software’s enterprise has unique abilities to exchange data with all other property software configurations creating an integrated, company-wide system that results in efficiency and increased productivity within sales, catering and operations departments. EatecNetX allows users to access the single, centralized database directly over the Internet lowering initial financial outlays and reducing a customer’s internal resources for on-going support.

Geac Restaurant Systems announced the migration of its feature-rich wireless software to the Microsoft Pocket PC operating system. These wireless solutions now run on open standard wireless terminals such as the Compaq® iPAQTM 3650, Symbol™ 2800 and the Fujitsu PenCentra 200. Over 600 hotels and resorts have used GuestWare to recognize and provide personalized service to every repeat guest. Hodges and Irvine Technologies delivered its latest version of ESP as an ASP solution. A new site simply logs on to the service via the Internet and begins using the system and paying a monthly usage-based subscription fee.

The HSI Enterprise Manager offers centralized menu maintenance and corporate reporting to customers by capturing data from the POS and back office systems and bringing it to a centralized location via the Internet or a customer’s WAN. X-VIBE from HubX is a real-time, fully automated booking engine and distribution service that automates the reservation process between a property’s PMS/CRS and the numerous sales and distribution channels. IDeaS Inc. provides the industry’s only guarantee of increased revenue with a benefits measurement system that has been independently validated by a third-party accounting firm.

InfoGenesis announced that it has partnered with ACRES Gaming Incorporated to develop a new interface to link player activity in all areas of the property, offering guests single card convenience throughout a resort. Sterling Valley Systems, Inc. has acquired the physical assets and the intellectual property associated with the inntopia.com travel technology platform from San Francisco-based Unexplored, Inc. Management Technologies announced the availability of Rapid Response version 4.5 with several new features including new arrivals report and cost logging and tracking for guest requests.

MeetingMatrix International has created a wide variety of room diagrams with the use of simple pull-down menus and toolbars while creating perfect seating arrangements by guaranteeing the size and shape of every item used. Metropolis Technologies announced TrunkWatch, which allows users to efficiently monitor call traffic and analyze trunk usage. MICROS Systems released the 9700 Hospitality Management System, the company’s newest point-of-sale system for leisure and entertainment.

Newmarket International’s NetXchange, the hospitality’s first and only B2B e-commerce service, establishes the NetMarketplace by allowing hotels, sales offices, convention and visitor bureaus, convention centers and meeting planners to conduct their business in a centralized manner. NoBarriers is the creator of RateSweeper, a powerful Internet syndication tool that allows hotels the ability to view their competitor’s rates in real time with the click of a mouse.

Wyndham International and Carlson Hotels have joined Starwood Hotels in chosing OPUS 2’s TopLine™ PROPHET Enterprise as their enterprise revenue management system. AremisSoft™ Hospitality Inc. has successfully acquired Rio Systems International. Sceptre Hospitality Resources signed a multi-year technology services agreement with Dallas-based Unirez to be the exclusive provider of reservations technology, voice services and electronic distribution for all of Sceptre’s hotels.

With SDD’s JAZZ Enterprise Server, property managers are provided centrally managed call accounting in real time for one to many geographically distributed properties. Southern DataComm introduced its high-speed Network GateWay™ Service providing credit card, debit card, private label and check authorization to multiple processors.

With Statability financial and business operations, reporting over the Internet is provided to clients without clients having to buy hardware or software. By listening to hotel owners and operators, StayOnline implemented a business model and a technology that meets both the high-speed Internet connectivity needs of today’s traveler and the financial and physical requirements of property owners.

Stratton Warren Software’s flagship product, MMS400, offers full function purchasing from point of origin to point of sale, with the capability to seamlessly integrate electronically with suppliers from bid to payment. SynXis Corporation now offers hotels access to some of the Web’s most popular hospitality sites through onward distribution using Pegasus electronic distribution and WorldRes. TrackIT is a state-of-the-art package tracking software system designed specifically for the lodging industry by the Ogden, Utah-based company. MPScope™ enables hotels to measure their performance using UniFocus’ Real-Time Technology™. Also, they can capture immediate feedback from meeting planners utilizing a three-phased process management solution that provides online tools for measuring meeting planner satisfaction before the event, during the event and following an event.
