In the past few issues, we’ve featured information about some of our partner associations. Since this is a new issue, we’re taking the liberty of talking a little bit about ourselves while supplying some of the latest in hospitality technology.

Inside this issue, we feature some of our successes of the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) via The HFTP Annual Report. More importantly, we also recognize the volunteers who help us move the industry forward. Our successes as a nonprofit association are carried squarely on the shoulders of our leadership, stakeholders and members who volunteer their expertise. We invite you to review it to appreciate the vision and leadership driving our industry forward.

Education continues to be a powerful force for advancement and the HFTP Academy has had another banner year! We're proud to highlight its success in delivering top-tier educational content and professional certifications. By equipping hospitality professionals with essential skills and knowledge, the Academy fosters individual career growth while strengthening the industry. Again, due to the massive support from our volunteers and unique nonprofit status in the US, we can provide “Luxury Education for an Economy Price.”

HITEC®, HITEC MENA and our global CIO events have continued to be a premier forum for technology leaders to connect, share insights and tackle complex challenges together. These events create a unique environment where honest discussions lead to practical solutions. By the end of 2025, we will announce two new locations for co-located events — one in Europe and another in Asia.

All around the world, local chapter members, meet-ups and other clusters have demonstrated remarkable dedication, and their efforts are making a significant impact. These local accomplishments showcase the collective power and passion of our community.

As you explore this issue, we hope you share in our pride for the resilience and ingenuity of the hospitality sector. The successes — from HFTP's strategic leadership to the grassroots efforts of its members — paint a compelling picture of a dynamic industry on the rise.
